Seeking a volunteer for the Treasurer position

Dear Members:

We are reaching out to the members of the Troy Chamber of Commerce to seek a volunteer for the Treasurer position.

Susie Taylor has resigned, and Evan Comella, our secretary, had temporarily stepped in as secretary/treasurer. However, Evan also volunteers in several other capacities and has taken on additional responsibilities, making it impossible for her to continue as our secretary/treasurer.

Mike Lidgett, our president, has successfully found someone for the secretary role, but we are still in need of a Treasurer.

Our chamber is expanding, and we are introducing many new initiatives for the holidays as well as for next summer. I hope you received the October Newsletter that highlighted the upcoming concert series.

We are appealing to all our members: would one of you be willing to volunteer as the Treasurer of the Chamber of Commerce?

Your involvement would be invaluable in helping us manage the financial aspects of our growing organization. The role of Treasurer is crucial as it ensures our financial health and supports our various initiatives and events.

As a member of the Chamber, volunteering as Treasurer would provide you with a unique opportunity to engage with fellow business leaders, expand your network, and contribute to the economic vitality of our community. This role not only requires a commitment to detail and integrity but also offers a rewarding experience as you play a pivotal part in shaping the future of our chamber.

If you are interested or would like to learn more about the responsibilities involved, please feel free to reach out to Mike Lidgett at your earliest convenience. We would be delighted to discuss how you can contribute to our mission and become a key part of our dedicated team.

Thank you for considering this opportunity to serve your community. Together, we can continue to make Troy a thriving hub of commerce and culture.
